Matt Wisdom, Chief Producer
Matt is the CEO of TurboSquid, a company he co-founded in 2000 to allow anyone to publish their digital creations for sale on the internet. TurboSquid is now the world’s leading seller of 3D models used to create imagery in feature films, computer games, defense and other industries. The company has received numerous awards, including the New Orleans City Business “Innovator of the Year.” In 2005, he contributed the idea and co-authored the legislation for the Digital Interactive Media incentives for the state of Louisiana, widely cited as significantly contributing to the city’s entrepreneurial renaissance. To further economic development in the region, Matt serves as Chairman of the Board of the New Orleans Startup Fund, on the Executive Committee of The Idea Village, and as a director of GNO, Inc. His awards and recognition include being named “Technology Leader of the Year” for Louisiana by the Governor’s Office. Matt graduated with a degree in History from Brown University in 1994 with a personal emphasis on software engineering. He is a member of the 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
Rachel Shields, Volunteer
Rachel Shields is Chief of Staff for Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.), the regional economic development agency for the 10 parishes of southeast Louisiana. At GNO, Inc. Rachel is a member of the senior strategy team for the organization. She manages the activities of the Board of Directors, various Executive Boards and volunteer committees, and implements the organization’s special events. She is a 2012 graduate of The New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI), and a 2014 graduate of Jefferson Leadership. Rachel studied at Delgado Community College and is a lifelong resident of New Orleans where she currently resides with her husband and three children.
Sayde Finkel, JD, Volunteer
Sayde is the Senior Research Associate for Greater New Orleans, Inc., where she is responsible for conducting market research and assisting in the development of strategy in order to create jobs and wealth in the 10 parish Greater New Orleans region. Originally from New York, Sayde graduated from Brandeis University where she earned degrees in History, Medieval & Renaissance Studies, and Fine Arts before attending Tulane University Law School in New Orleans with a focus on Art Law and Intellectual Property and now lives in Bayou St. John.
Matt Wolfe, Volunteer
Matt Wolfe is the Brand and Technology Manager for Greater New Orleans, Inc. In this role, he maintains control over print and digital marketing materials for Greater New Orleans, Inc. and leads initiatives to brand the region as an ideal business location. Matt also leads the organization’s technology activities including the active recruitment of technology companies to the area. He has over 11 years of experience in traditional journalism newsrooms, with experience in broadcast television and for daily and weekly print publications. He is a New Orleans native and lives in Lakeview with his wife, two dogs, and cat.
